106th Street North St. Pete Side Yards
Side yards on 106th Street North are service corridors: trash carts, a hose bib, and the only path to the backyard. They fail when the surface is pitched at the house or when the gate opening is narrower than the cart.
Service path, not a leftover strip
We treat the side yard as a walking surface with a drain path, not as leftover concrete. The base is compacted in lifts, the edge is restrained, and the finish stays below the siding.
Positive drainage to the front or to a yard inlet, not against the slab
Width that actually clears the trash cart and the AC pad
A flush transition at the driveway so the cart does not hang up
Joint sand locked after compaction so irrigation overspray does not open the field
