10th Avenue North Courtyard Pavers in St. Petersburg
10th Avenue North is an older St. Petersburg street where the courtyard is often the outdoor room: a short court off the porch, a side path to the alley, and a drive that shares the same sand.
PaverForge Hardscapes builds and re-levels those courts from St. Pete Beach. Call 727-490-9798 or book at paverforge.com/book-online.
Base before color
A court that ponds after an afternoon storm was usually set on a thin bed. We excavate, compact aggregate, and pitch the surface away from the house. Edge restraint keeps the field from creeping into the planting bed or the alley.
Compacted stone base sized for the load, including a car if the court is the drive
Positive drainage toward the street, a drain, or a low point that already works
Edge restraint that stays put through heat and rain
Joint sand locked after compaction
Re-level or rebuild
If the stones are still sound, we lift, fix the base, and re-lay. If the base was never built, we rebuild it and reuse what we can. Send photos of the low spots, the porch threshold, and the street frontage. We typically reply the same business day.
