13th Avenue South St. Pete Paver Walks
13th Avenue South cuts through the grid south of Central, where alley-loaded houses, mature oaks, and a city sidewalk all meet a walk that was poured too high years ago.
Alley and sidewalk joints
On 13th Avenue South the front walk often dies into a sidewalk the city has already ground, and the side path dies into an alley that floods. Both joints have to stay flush. A lip at the sidewalk is a trip. A lip at the alley catches trash-truck tires.
PaverForge Hardscapes matches the sidewalk elevation, pitches the walk to the swale, and sets a soldier course where tires cross the alley apron. We do not bury the sewer cleanout.
Root heave
Oak roots on this corridor lift concrete in a line. A paver field can be lifted and reset after a root prune. Concrete cannot. Call 727-490-9798 or book online with a photo of the sidewalk joint.
