149th Street North St. Pete Side Yards
Side yards on 149th Street North are narrow. The gate, the AC pad, and the hose bib all sit in the same strip, and storm water has nowhere to go if the path is flat against the foundation.
Clearance and drainage
We keep service clearance at the condenser and pitch the path so water leaves the wall. A trapped low spot next to the slab is the repair we see most. The base is compacted aggregate, edged so the field does not creep into the fence.
If a downspout dumps on the path, we land it past the walk or into a line that already drains. Pavers do not fix a spout that ends on the field.
Quote the side yard
Measure the gate opening and send a photo of the AC and the low corner. PaverForge Hardscapes builds these paths from the St. Pete Beach shop. Call 727-490-9798.
