191st Street North St. Pete Side Yards
Side yards on 191st Street North are the service path: pool equipment, AC pads, trash carts, and the only way to the back without crossing the lawn. A loose paver run there spreads into the fence and turns into mud at the gate. PaverForge Hardscapes builds that narrow field so it carries a cart and still drains.
Narrow does not mean thin
The fence line leaves little room for a wide base. We still compact aggregate under the walking width, hold the edge against the fence so pavers do not creep into the posts, and pitch the surface to the yard or a drain that already leaves the lot.
Base width that fits the gate without undercutting the fence
Edge restraint on the open side and a fixed line at the fence
Pitch that does not send water at the house or the neighbor
A surface that can take a cart without rocking at the gate
Equipment pads in the same run
If the side yard also holds a condenser or a pool pad, we keep that pad separate from the walking field so vibration does not loosen the path. We look at the gate swing and the downspouts before we lock a number.
