205th Street North St. Pete Walkways

Front walks on 205th Street North often drop from a porch slab to a sandy yard. The old path settles at the step and the bed steals the edge. Rain then tracks to the porch instead of the lawn.

PaverForge Hardscapes rebuilds the walk so the step stays even and the field pitches away from the house.

What the front walk needs

  • A landing that meets the porch without a trip lip

  • A base on fill sand that is compacted, not just screeded

  • Edge restraint so the bed does not swallow the border

  • Pitch away from the slab toward a lawn or a drain that already works

How we set the walk

We check the porch joint, rebuild the base, and set the first course so the step is even. The field is restrained at the bed. Joint sand is locked after compaction so summer rain does not open the joints.

Call 727-490-9798 or use the book-online page. Photos of the porch step and the low side of the walk are enough to start.
