21st Avenue St. Pete Beach Driveway Aprons
21st Avenue on St. Pete Beach is a beach-access street. Aprons here take sand, short rain, and the drop from the private field to the city approach. A field that looks fine in the drive often fails in the first ten feet.
PaverForge Hardscapes rebuilds those aprons from our St. Pete Beach shop. Call 727-490-9798 or book a walkthrough at paverforge.com/book-online.
The apron is the job
We measure the city approach, the sidewalk or shell shoulder, and the slope into the garage. Then we excavate so compacted aggregate, not native sand, carries the tires. The edge is restrained so the first course does not walk into the street.
Base depth sized for cars, not a patio spec under tires
Pitch that does not dump stormwater at the garage door
A clean tie to the public approach without a lip that catches a bumper
Joint sand locked after compaction
How to start
Send photos of the apron, the low spot, and the street frontage. We typically reply the same business day and walk the lot before we lock a number. If the stones up the drive are still sound, we re-level the failed section instead of tearing the whole field out.
