238th Street North St. Pete Walkways
Guest walkways on 238th Street North in St. Petersburg dish at the hose bib when the path was set on a sand skim.
The path is narrow, usually between the house and a fence, and it carries bins, a mower, and whoever is coming in from the drive. A floating edge shows up as a wobble underfoot before it shows up in a photo.
Where these paths fail
The hose bib is the wet spot. Constant drip and a downspout that was never kicked past the border wash the bedding out. We pitch the walk past that point and keep the restraint where a wheel will not climb it.
Gate posts and a shallow root at the fence line need a cut and a solid edge, not a stone forced against the wood.
PaverForge Hardscapes installs and re-levels those walkways from St. Pete Beach. Call 727-490-9798 or book at https://www.paverforge.com/book-online.
