241st Street North St. Pete Walkways

Walkways on 241st Street North in St. Petersburg heave at the irrigation valve box when the path was paved over a lid.

The box has to open. A stone glued across it looks finished until the valve needs a hand, and then the path comes up in a patch.

A flush lid, not a buried one

We frame the box into the walk so the lid sits flush with the field and still lifts. Pitch carries rinse water past the box instead of into it.

The rest of the path still needs base. A pretty border on a sand skim will dish between the drive and the front step even if the valve box is perfect.
