244th Street North St. Pete Walkways
Walkways on 244th Street North in St. Petersburg usually run from the drive to a side door, over a low yard, with an irrigation line in the way.
A later cut through a finished walk leaves a scar and a soft spot. The sleeve goes in before the base.
What we check first
We mark the valve box and the line that crosses the path. The box stays flush and liftable. We do not glue stone over a lid.
Edge restraint stays on the path side of the bed so mulch does not swallow the border. Pitch carries rinse water off the walk, not into the bed.
The gate swing has to clear the new height. A walk that is proud of the threshold trips the door.
How to start
PaverForge sets these paths on compacted aggregate. Call 727-490-9798 or use the book-online page and send a photo of the side door and the valve box.
