Side yards on 245th Street North in St. Petersburg are tight. The gate, the AC pad, and a hose bib all sit in the same strip.
A full patio spec in that strip traps the condenser and leaves no place to set a ladder.
What the strip needs
We keep a service path that sheds, with a flush frame around the AC pad so the tech can still pull the unit.
The hose bib gets a small splash collar instead of a puddle that softens the edge. Edge restraint holds the field so it does not walk into the fence.
If a downspout lands in the strip, we do not pave over it. The water has to leave.
