251st Street North St. Pete Side Yards

Side-yard pavers on 251st Street North creep when the edge has no restraint and the run has no pitch. A narrow lot leaves little room, and the path still has to carry a mower and a bin.

What moves the side yard

Sand against a fence is not an edge. Tires and foot traffic push the first course into the planting bed. Water from the roof downspout then mines the joint that opened up.

We set a buried edge restraint, pitch the run to the street or a side drain, and keep the downspout off the field. The path stays narrow enough for the gate and wide enough to walk.

Side-yard locks

  • Edge restraint on the open side, not just a sand shoulder

  • Pitch to daylight or a drain, not into the neighbor fence

  • Downspout splash kept off the paver joint

  • Gate swing checked before the border is locked

Call 727-490-9798 and send the gate, the downspout, and the low end of the run. PaverForge Hardscapes will walk it before quoting.
