254th Street North St. Pete Aprons
254th Street North sits on the numbered-street grid in north St. Petersburg, where driveway aprons take the same punishment as the rest of Pinellas: a concrete gutter lip, a thin sand bed, and afternoon storms that wash fines out of the joint.
Why these aprons open up
Most of the calls on this grid start at the street. The city gutter stays put. The paver apron drops a half inch, the first course rocks, and water sits in the tire path. A polymeric sand top-up does not fix a base that has already migrated.
What we rebuild
PaverForge Hardscapes cuts the failed apron back to sound field, re-compacts the base, and resets the pavers so the slope runs to the gutter instead of back toward the garage. Edge restraint goes in before the last course, not after the sand washes out again.
How to start
Call 727-490-9798 or use the book-online page at paverforge.com. Photos of the gutter lip, the low tire path, and the garage threshold are enough for a same-day reply. We serve this grid from the St. Pete Beach shop, along with Treasure Island, Madeira Beach, and south St. Petersburg.
