258th Street North St. Pete Aprons
258th Street North aprons often fail at a utility cut, not at the original install. The trench was backfilled loose, the patch settled, and the sidewalk joint is now a lip that catches a tire.
Match the existing field
If the rest of the driveway is still tight, we do not tear out the whole run. The cut is opened, the base is rebuilt in lifts, and the pavers are reset to the sidewalk and the gutter so the joint is flush. Color match is called before we order, not after the patch is in.
Sidewalk joint and gutter
The city sidewalk and the gutter are the fixed edges. The apron has to meet both. We set the slope so water leaves the sidewalk joint instead of standing on the public walk, which is the complaint neighbors actually make.
How to start
Call PaverForge Hardscapes at 727-490-9798. Photos of the utility patch, the sidewalk lip, and the garage apron tell us whether this is a cut repair or a full apron. Same-day reply on business days.
