286th Street North is on the Ozona side of this north Pinellas pocket, where the streets are older, tighter, and shaded by oaks. A walkway here shares the side yard with the meter, the condenser, and the trash path.

Cutting a live-oak root to force a straight run is how a walkway heaves two summers later. We route around roots we can keep and only remove what a licensed trimmer has already cleared.
