299th Street North side yards are often the only path from the street to the Gulf-side lanai. They hold water if the pitch dies at the AC pad.
A soft edge against the house wall is the other failure. Sand washes out, the first course drops, and the field tilts toward the stem wall.
How we keep the path dry
A continuous fall past the condenser, a trapped edge at the wall, and a base that does not pump under foot traffic. We do not pitch rinse water at the house to save a planting bed.
