304th Street North Ozona Walkways
304th Street North runs through the Ozona side of north Pinellas, a tighter harbor-edge neighborhood than the wider Palm Harbor grid. Walks here are often a single-file path from the driveway to a side gate or a backyard.
Why the old walk fails
Concrete paths on these lots crack at oak roots and settle at the downspout. A thin overlay copies the heave. We cut out the failed section, excavate to stable soil, and set compacted aggregate under the new field.
Width matters. A walk that cannot take a trash cart or a pool heater will get walked off the edge. We size the path to the gate, not to a catalog module, and we keep a turning spot at the gate so the leaf does not drag the pavers.
Drainage on a narrow lot
There is rarely a swale in the side yard. Pitch has to reach the driveway, a yard drain, or a low point that already works. We do not send water at the neighbor fence.
