308th Street North Palm Harbor Aprons
308th Street North sits in the north Palm Harbor grid west of Alternate 19, a short block of older lots between Crystal Beach and the Ozona canals.
The usual failure is the apron, not the whole drive. A thin concrete ribbon has dropped at the sidewalk, the plastic edge has kicked out, and irrigation water sits in the throat after a summer storm.
What we rebuild
We saw-cut a clean joint at sound pavement, undercut the soft pocket, and compact crushed concrete in thin lifts. The new paver apron holds a two-percent pitch to the street, not back toward the garage slab.
Soldier courses take the turning load where cars cut the corner. We photograph the sidewalk joint before excavation so the finished field meets it without a trip lip.
Utility locates come before the first shovel. Older water services and irrigation laterals are common under these short throats.
PaverForge Hardscapes is based in St. Pete Beach and runs this Palm Harbor grid with the rest of north Pinellas. Call 727-490-9798 or book at https://www.paverforge.com/book-online.
