314th Street North Palm Harbor Driveway Aprons
314th Street North sits in the Palm Harbor grid west of Alternate 19, a short gulf-side block where the right-of-way is often higher than the garage slab.
Most drives are a single car width. The apron is where the county sidewalk, the swale, and the old sand-set field meet. PaverForge rebuilds that throat so water leaves the slab and the car does not drop a wheel at the sidewalk joint.
What fails on a 314th Street North apron
The usual call is a lip where a sidewalk repair left the concrete proud, a plastic edge that kicked out under the oak, or sand that washed into the swale after a summer storm.
We excavate to a compacted aggregate base, set a restraint that can take a car, and use 80mm pavers where tires live. Thickness does not replace base. An 80mm stone on dumped sand still fails.
Utility locates happen before the first shovel. Irrigation laterals and older water services are common under these short drives.
