31st Street NE Old Northeast walkways
Walkways on 31st Street NE at the bayou edge
31st Street NE is a short, quiet run at the north end of Old Northeast, close enough to Coffee Pot Bayou that splash and a high water table show up in the front walk. PaverForge Hardscapes builds and re-levels those paths so the porch landing stays dry and the sidewalk joint does not become a lip.
We rebuild the base, pitch the walk away from the house, and restrain the edge. Where the path crosses a low swale that used to be lawn, we do not bury that drainage under a flat field. The walk bridges the low point or the grade is reset so water still has a way out.
Salt, shade, and a short front setback
Front yards on this street are small. A walk that is too wide steals the planting bed; a walk that is too thin rocks at the edges. We size the path for the porch it serves, lock the joints, and keep irrigation off the field. Salt on the north end is harder on a loose sand joint than a locked one.
Call 727-490-9798. Send a sidewalk photo and a porch photo. We typically reply the same business day and walk the lot before a price. PaverForge Hardscapes, St. Pete Beach.
