334th Street North Ozona Walkways
334th Street North in Ozona is a short residential run near the harbor side of north Pinellas, where walkways take salt air, oak shade, and the occasional cart path to a dock.
PaverForge Hardscapes builds and resets those walkways from St. Pete Beach. Call 727-490-9798 or book a walkthrough at paverforge.com/book-online.
Why Ozona paths dish
Shade keeps the joints damp. Irrigation hits the same edge every morning. Roots from a live oak lift one corner while the other side sinks into soft sand. A walkway that was only set on bedding sand will rock at the joints after one wet season.
We excavate the failed section, compact a base that can take foot traffic and a loaded cooler cart, and reset the pitch so water leaves the path instead of sitting in the low joint.
Edge and joint details
Edge restraint is not optional on a path that borders mulch. Without it the first course walks into the bed. Polymeric sand stays out of the picture until the field is dry enough to lock. We would rather wait than trap moisture under a film.
Send a photo of the low spot and the street frontage. We walk Ozona, Palm Harbor, and Crystal Beach lots before we lock a number.
