364th Street North Ozona Walkways
364th Street North is in the Ozona side of the Palm Harbor numbering grid, closer to the bayou lots and the older oak canopy. Walkways here are narrow, often squeezed between a raised finished floor and a neighbor fence, and they take the brunt of afternoon gulf rain. PaverForge builds those paths as a pitched paver walk with a restrained edge, not a loose stepping-stone run that sinks into shell fill.
Pitch and width
A useful Ozona walk is wide enough for a bin cart and pitched at least a quarter inch per foot away from the stem wall. On 364th Street North the finished floor is often only a step above grade, so the walk cannot be built up. We excavate, set the base below the weep screed, and keep the paver face under the siding clearance. Where the path crosses a downspout discharge, a splash pad or a short trench drain keeps roof water from mining the bedding sand.
Edges that stay put
Fence lines and AC condensers leave little room for a wide concrete border. Restraint is a low-profile edge, staked into compacted base, with a soil or mulch shoulder that does not hold water against the paver. Polymeric sand is used only where the joints will stay dry enough to cure. Under dense oak shade we specify a joint sand that tolerates slower dry-down. Steps, if the lot drops toward the bayou, are built as paver-clad risers with a drained tread, not loose block stacked on sand.
