38th Street South St. Pete Paver Approaches
38th Street South cuts through south St. Petersburg between Grand Central and the neighborhoods toward Childs Park. Approaches here meet a city sidewalk, and some lots also tie to an alley where trash trucks turn.
PaverForge Hardscapes rebuilds those approaches in pavers: the throat at the sidewalk, the garage lip, and the alley edge when the city right-of-way allows a private-side repair. The shop is on St. Pete Beach.
Sidewalk throat and alley edge
A lip at the sidewalk ponds water and trips. We match the existing walk elevation, pitch the private drive back, and compact the base in lifts so the first truck does not rut the new field.
Alley edges get a heavier border and a restraint that is not just a plastic spike in sugar sand. If the city recently ground the walk, we reset the throat to the new elevation instead of bridging it.
