392nd Street North Palm Harbor Driveway Aprons
392nd Street North aprons fail at the turn, not in the middle of the driveway. Drivers cut the corner past the mailbox, the shoulder sand leaves, and the first two courses rock. Re-sanding the joints does not put the base back.
The turn is the load
A straight roll down the drive is easier on the field than the daily turn off the street. We deepen the aggregate under that arc, compact in lifts, and set an edge restraint that is not just a plastic strip in loose sand. The apron meets the sidewalk joint instead of bridging over it.
Pitch off the slab
Palm Harbor lots on this stretch often sit a few inches below the garage. We pitch the apron away from the slab and away from the stem wall so storm water does not sit on the threshold. 80mm pavers go where tires live. Patio-thickness stone is the wrong call here.
PaverForge Hardscapes rebuilds driveway aprons on 392nd Street North from the St. Pete Beach shop. Call 727-490-9798 or book a walkthrough at paverforge.com/book-online. Photos of the turn and the garage joint are enough to start.
