444th Street North Palm Harbor Driveway Aprons
444th Street North aprons take a harder turn off a busier east-west connector than the quiet cul-de-sacs farther north.
The throat sees more braking and more standing water at the sidewalk joint. A thin sand bed walks, and the lip becomes a trip edge.
Apron detail
We match the sidewalk joint, keep a two-percent pitch off the garage slab, and use 80mm pavers on a compacted crushed-concrete base. The apron is not a patio thickness. Passenger cars and the occasional trailer need the thicker stone.
We photograph the existing grade before the cut so the finished field still meets the sidewalk.
