445th Street North walkways run from a sidewalk to a raised entry, often under oaks that drop acorns and hold irrigation on the surface.
The walk fails at the first step or at the sidewalk joint, where a settled bay creates a lip.
What we set
A sand-set field on a proof-rolled base, pinned edges, and pitch off the entry toward the lawn. The sidewalk joint is matched, not buried under a proud course.
We leave a liftable bay at any root we cannot shift the path around, so a later prune or root cut does not mean tearing the whole walk.
