481st Street North Palm Harbor Paver Walkways

481st Street North walkways are the short front path on Palm Harbor lots that still have a lawn strip between sidewalk and porch. The path looks simple. The failure is usually a sand bed that washed out and a runner that now rocks underfoot.

What fails on the front walk

Joint sand leaves in the first hard rain. The edge disappears into mulch. A root lifts one stone and the rest of the walk follows. If the porch slab is the high point, a flat reset ponds at the step.

How we rebuild it

We undercut soft soil, compact aggregate in lifts, and set a restraint that can be maintained after the mulch goes back. Pitch leaves the porch. 60mm is the right thickness on a walk that never sees a tire. If the path doubles as a golf-cart cut-through, we say so and change the spec.
