488th Street North Palm Harbor Paver Driveway Aprons
488th Street North sits in the numbered grid west of Alternate US 19 in Palm Harbor, a short run of oak lots between the Ozona canal edge and the longer north-county avenues. Most drives are a single car width. The garage slab was poured higher than the old concrete ribbon, and the apron meets a county sidewalk or a grassed swale.
What fails on a 488th Street North apron
The usual call is a sand-set field that has walked toward the street, a plastic edge that kicked out under the oak, or an apron a sidewalk grind left proud of the walk. Water then sits on the slab edge or sheets toward the neighbor instead of the swale. PaverForge excavates to a compacted aggregate base, sets a restraint that can take a car, and uses 80mm pavers where tires live. Thickness does not replace base. An 80mm stone on dumped sand still fails.
Apron pitch and the right-of-way
Apron pitch is set to the public drainage, not to a guess at the garage door. We photograph existing grades before excavation so the finished field meets the sidewalk without a trip lip. Staging stays on mats, off the travel lane. Utility locates happen before the first shovel because irrigation laterals and older water services are common under these short drives.
