493rd Street North Palm Harbor Paver Walkways
493rd Street North in Palm Harbor has a handful of rebuilds among the original ranches. The new stoop often sits a full paver thickness above the old walk, and the mailbox path ponds at the low joint after a storm. Shade from the street oak keeps that joint soft.
What fails on a 493rd Street North walk
The field has settled away from the stoop, the plastic edge has kicked out at the oak, or the walk meets the driveway on a lip the cart wheel catches. We excavate to a compacted base, set a restraint, and pitch water off the house toward the swale. 60mm is the walk thickness. If the same job includes the apron, that field is 80mm. Thickness does not replace base.
Grades and access
We photograph existing grades before excavation so the finished walk meets the stoop and the sidewalk without a trip edge. Staging stays on mats. Utility locates happen before the first shovel because irrigation laterals cross these short walks.
