510th Street North Palm Harbor Paver Driveway Aprons

510th Street North in Palm Harbor is a quiet residential run, but the apron still takes the full turn off the pavement. A mailbox planted in the throat, or a field set level with the garage, is what ponds and what the tire hits.

Apron layout

We keep the mailbox out of the wheel path, match the sidewalk if one is there, and pitch the throat to the street. 80 mm pavers go under cars. The base is compacted in lifts on the sandy shoulder so the apron does not settle into a lip.

Neighbors and the right of way

Staging stays on the lot. We do not close the street. If the apron crosses a sidewalk the city owns, we photograph the match instead of burying the walk.
