549th Street North Palm Harbor Courtyard Pavers
Courtyards on 549th Street North are the outdoor rooms between the house, the lanai, and a side gate. They look simple. The failures are standing water at the slider and sand that washes into the pool cage after a summer storm.
A courtyard is not a driveway
If the court never sees a car, 60mm is an honest thickness. The base still has to be compacted in lifts. Dumped sand under a pretty field will settle at the downspout and open the joints. We pitch the field away from the house and the cage track, toward a pop-up or a lawn edge that can take the water.
Oak and palm roots are the other job. A restraint that is only a plastic edge will bow where a root crosses. We cut and detail those crossings so the field can be opened later without tearing the whole court.
How to start
Send a photo of the court and the lowest slider. PaverForge Hardscapes will tell you whether this is a re-lay or a new base. Call 727-490-9798 or book at https://www.paverforge.com/book-online.
