551st Street North Palm Harbor Side Yard Pavers

Side yards on 551st Street North are the working aisle: AC condensers, a gate that has to swing, a hose bib, and sometimes the only path a mower or a small trailer can use. Loose shell turns to mud. A flat paver pad turns into a pond.

What we build

The field is pitched to a trapped drain or a pop-up that daylightes in the yard, not back at the stem wall. Condenser pads are isolated so vibration does not telegraph into the walk. The gate swing is measured before the edge goes in. A restraint that the gate hits every morning will fail.

If a boat or utility cart uses the aisle, the stone is 80mm on a compacted base. A patio paver in a side yard that sees tires will dish at the gate. We also leave a sleeve for the irrigation main so a later repair does not saw the field.
