558th Street North Palm Harbor Paver Driveway Aprons
558th Street North aprons often share the parkway with a mailbox and a shallow swale. Rebuilding the throat without measuring those two is how the new field ends up blocking the box or ponding at the curb.
What we set before the first course
The mailbox stays reachable from the street, and the post is not buried in the flare. Sidewalk match is a hard elevation: a trip lip at the public walk is not an acceptable finish. Stormwater still has to reach the gutter, so the apron pitch is set to the working inlet, not to a flat visual line.
We use 80mm driveway pavers on compacted aggregate, with a soldier border that can be lifted if the county replaces the sidewalk. Locates cover the water service and any irrigation sleeve in the parkway. Cut dust stays on the lot.
How to start
PaverForge Hardscapes builds these Palm Harbor aprons from St. Pete Beach. Call 727-490-9798 or book at https://www.paverforge.com/book-online. Photos of the mailbox, the sidewalk joint, and the gutter tell us if it is a re-level or a rebuild.
