559th Street North Palm Harbor Paver Walkways
Walkways on 559th Street North run from a front door that is often a step above a flat yard to a sidewalk that the county owns. The failure is usually a reverse pitch that holds water at the threshold, or an edge that the mower has chewed out.
What the walk is built to do
We set the high point at the door and the low point at the sidewalk or a side swale that already works. The field is wide enough for two people and a hose, not a second driveway. A rigid edge stays below the mower line. The border course lifts later if the sidewalk is replaced.
Oak shade is common on this grid. We do not lay the walk across a surface root we can step around. Joints are locked after compaction. Sealing waits until the field has settled and the sand has stopped migrating.
