56th Street North St. Pete Walkways
56th Street North still has a mix of shell drives and later concrete walks that have settled away from the front stoop. The step that forms at the porch is the complaint we hear first.
Reset the path, keep the stoop
The porch slab usually stays. PaverForge rebuilds the walk so the last course lands flush with that slab, with a compressible joint so the two materials can move independently. Street-side, the path meets the sidewalk without a toe-stubber.
Flush landing at the stoop
Border that survives edging and mower wheels
Room for a future handrail post if the run is long
Base rebuilt where the old walk had pumped sand out of the joints
Walkway resets on 56th Street North are scheduled with the same crew that builds aprons one block east. PaverForge, 727-490-9798.
