572nd Street North Palm Harbor Paver Driveway Aprons

572nd Street North in Palm Harbor is a short residential run where the garage slab often sits higher than the old sand-set apron. After a sidewalk grind or a new curb, that throat becomes a lip or a pond.

PaverForge Hardscapes rebuilds those aprons from St. Pete Beach. Call 727-490-9798 or book at https://www.paverforge.com/book-online.

What fails at the street edge

A 60 mm patio stone on a dumped sand bed walks toward the gutter the first wet season. Plastic edge kicks out under the tire drop. Irrigation laterals and older water services sit shallow under these short drives, so we locate before the first shovel.

We excavate to a compacted aggregate base, set a restraint that can take a car, and use 80 mm pavers where tires live. Thickness does not replace base. An 80 mm stone on loose sand still fails.

The apron meets the sidewalk without a trip lip, and the field pitches so rinse water leaves the garage throat instead of sitting on the slab.

Send two photos of the drive and the street edge. We walk the lot before we lock a number.
