58th Avenue North lots are narrower than a new subdivision court. The courtyard is often the only outdoor room, and it sits in oak shade for most of the day.

We rebuild the court on a compacted base, lock the edge against the house slab, and set a slight pitch to a side yard or a flush drain, not toward the door.

Chair and table pads get a tighter joint and a border so the legs do not chew the field. We do not seal a damp court. Sealing waits until the joints are locked and the surface is dry.
