610th Street North in Ozona is an older cottage street. Walks from the sidewalk to the porch often cross a root zone and a short rise. A thin concrete ribbon heaves, then traps water at the step. PaverForge sets these paths as a flexible paver walk with a restrained edge.

Roots, steps, and the public walk

Ozona lots keep large live oaks close to the front walk. We do not cut structural roots to force a straight line. The walk shifts around the root plate, uses a thicker edge where the grade changes, and lands on a landing paver at the porch.

Keep the walk at least 36 inches clear.
Pitch the surface away from the stem wall.
Use a concealed edge restraint so lawn crews do not peel the border.
