628th Street North Ozona Paver Walkways
Ozona walkways on 628th Street North are narrow on purpose. The lots sit close to the lane, the oaks own the side yard, and a straight 4-foot path often has to bend around a meter, a well head, or a porch step. PaverForge Hardscapes builds those walks as a drained ribbon, not as a leftover strip of the same paver used on the patio.
Why a walk fails here
The usual failure is a walk set level with the mulch. Irrigation and oak drip keep the bedding wet, the edge disappears into the bed, and the first hard rain sheets onto the porch. We set the walk above the bed, restrain both edges, and give it a cross-pitch so water does not run the length of the house.
Width that still lets a bin or a cooler pass the narrowest oak.
Edge restraint on both sides, even where the bed looks stable.
Cross-pitch off the foundation, not a long run toward the porch.
A sleeve under the walk if irrigation or low-voltage lighting is already planned.
How to start an Ozona walkway quote
A few photos from the lane and from the porch are enough. Call PaverForge Hardscapes at 727-490-9798 or book at https://www.paverforge.com/book-online. We will say if the walk should match an existing court or stay a simpler band.
