643rd Street North Palm Harbor Paver Walkways

Walkways on 643rd Street North in Palm Harbor often connect a front door to a side gate the original slab never served. The run crosses irrigation, a downspout, and sometimes a shallow root from the parkway oak.

What the walk has to do

The useful path is the one a person can take in the rain without stepping into the planting bed. We keep the width to the gate, sleeve the irrigation where it crosses, and pitch the field so the downspout does not wash the joints.

  • Sleeve irrigation before the base is locked.

  • Leave a liftable bay at the downspout.

  • Restrain the edge against the bed so sand does not migrate.

  • Match the porch step so the first course is not a toe catch.
