658th Street North Ozona Paver Walkways
658th Street North in Ozona is a tight residential walk, often sharing grade with older oaks and irrigation heads. A walk set too high becomes a dam. A walk set too low holds water at the door. PaverForge Hardscapes builds those paths from St. Pete Beach. Call 727-490-9798 or book at https://www.paverforge.com/book-online.
What the walk has to do
Ozona side paths carry a hose, a cart, and foot traffic, not cars. They still need a compacted base. Sand alone washes out where an irrigation line crosses. A raised edge against a tree root heaves the first course.
We match the existing door threshold, sleeve irrigation where it crosses the walk, and keep the surface flush so a cart does not catch. Pitch runs to a bed or a drain that already works, not back at the slab. Edge restraint stays on the open side so the field does not walk into the mulch.
Re-level when the stone is sound
If the units are intact and only the middle has settled, we lift, rebuild the base, and re-lay. Send photos of the threshold, the low joint, and any irrigation head in the path. We walk it before we lock a number.
