67th Street North St. Pete Walkways
Walkways on 67th Street North are narrow. The useful path is the one that still opens the side gate and does not shove the lawn into the bed.
Width, pitch, and the gate
We measure the gate swing before we set the border. A walk that lands in the swing is a trip, not a feature. Pitch sheds to the lawn, not back to the entry slab. Overspray from the parkway rotors is expected, so the joint sand is locked and the edge is restrained.
A soldier border keeps the long line straight beside a hedge that gets trimmed hard. We do not run the field under the hedge where roots will heave it. Steps, if the lot needs them, are built as a separate riser, not a paver stacked on sand.
Who this is for
North St. Pete houses with a front walk that has settled at the sidewalk joint. PaverForge Hardscapes repairs and rebuilds those walks. Start at paverforge.com/services or call 727-490-9798.
