What this courtyard actually needs

Pitch is set before color. A flat field looks even in the morning and ponds by the cage track after a Gulf storm. We mark irrigation and the downspout before the base goes in.

Border courses stay liftable at the cage track and at any floor drain. We do not mortar a drain grate into the field. Joints are sanded so they can be re-sanded after the first storm season.
