682nd Street North Ozona Paver Walkways
682nd Street North walkways in Ozona cross oak roots, a sandy shoulder, and a mailbox path that delivery trucks cut every week.
PaverForge Hardscapes builds those walks so the field can be lifted at a root and reset without tearing the run back to the front door.
What the walk has to survive
A rigid mortar bed cracks the first time an oak root lifts. We use a compacted base and a liftable edge so one bay can come up. The mailbox pad is a separate course, not the same field as the front walk.
Pitch leaves the house. We do not set the walk flat to the slab and call it level. Cut dust stays on the lot. Materials stage on mats so the shoulder is not rutted.
