687th Street North in Crystal Beach is a quiet courtyard lot more often than a through street. The field between the lanai and the oak is where chairs, a grill, and the irrigation heads already live. It is not a driveway, and it should not be built like one.

What the courtyard actually needs

A 60mm patio paver is honest here if no vehicle will cross it. The base still has to be compacted aggregate, not a sand bed over shell. Pitch leaves the slab and finds a low point that already works, not the neighbor fence.

Oak shade holds moisture. Joint sand that is not locked will wash toward the swale after the first summer storm. We set a real edge restraint so the first course does not creep into the planting bed.

What we will not sell
