703rd Street North Ozona Paver Walkways

Walkways on 703rd Street North in Ozona have to stay even from the front door to the street after a Gulf rain. The old concrete ribbon usually failed at the expansion joint, then someone dropped sand and called it a paver path.

PaverForge Hardscapes rebuilds those walks from St. Pete Beach. Call 727-490-9798 or book at https://www.paverforge.com/book-online.

What the path needs

  • A compacted base that does not pump after the first storm

  • Pitch to the street or a working low point, never toward the stoop

  • An edge that holds the first course off the sidewalk joint

  • Joint sand locked after compaction, not a cosmetic fill

Ozona lots sit close to the water table. A thin base looks fine on a dry afternoon and rocks the next morning. We excavate to a depth that leaves aggregate under the field, then compact in lifts before the bedding sand goes down.

Photos of the stoop, the sidewalk joint, and any ponding are enough to book a walkthrough.
