71st Avenue South is one of the southern Pinellas Point blocks. Driveways are short, side yards are narrow, and the sidewalk has often been repaired since the pavers went in.

The usual complaint is a dip at the tires and a lip at the sidewalk. Both come from a base that was never thick enough for the sand under Pinellas Point.

Rebuild, do not overlay

We do not skim a new paver over a soft bed. The failed section comes out, the base is compacted, and 80mm pavers go back with a soldier course at the street.

Staging stays on the driveway. We do not stack pallets on the swale or the neighbor's irrigation heads.
