721st Street North Ozona Paver Walkways
Walkways on 721st Street North in Ozona run from a narrow front walk toward a water-side gate. Oak roots and irrigation overspray are the usual reasons the old field rocks. The path has to stay even enough for a cart and still shed water away from the slab.
How we build it
PaverForge Hardscapes measures the threshold and the gate first, then sets cross-slope so the walk does not become a gutter. Roots that are lifting stones get cut back only where an arborist has cleared the work, and the base is rebuilt so the next season of growth does not kick the border into the bed.
We compact crushed concrete in lifts, pin an edge that can be maintained, and keep the soldier course liftable. Where the walk crosses a downspout splash, a small collar keeps the joint sand from washing out. Cars do not belong on this field unless the owner says the path is also a parking spur. Then it is an 80mm driveway spec.
