732nd Street North Crystal Beach Paver Driveway Aprons
732nd Street North in Crystal Beach is a short beach-community street where the driveway throat is often the only place a truck can turn. Salt air and a sandy base make a thin apron dish at the tire tracks in a couple of wet seasons. The sidewalk joint is the other failure: a lip that catches a heel after the field settles.
Base before stone
Thickness does not replace base. We undercut the soft pocket at the street, compact crushed concrete in lifts, and use an 80mm driveway paver on the apron and the parking bay. The sidewalk meeting stays a public detail. We shoot grades before we cut so the finished field lands flush, not a trip edge.
Access on a beach street
Parking is tight and the right-of-way is narrow. We stage pallets on mats, keep one lane open where we can, and sequence the apron so the house is not blocked overnight. Irrigation laterals and older water services get located before excavation.
