73rd Avenue North St. Pete Aprons
73rd Avenue North is a north St. Petersburg residential street in the grid west of Shore Acres, where short driveways meet a concrete sidewalk and a sandy lot. The failure we see is almost always the apron, not the middle of the drive.
What the lot needs
Afternoon storms wash bedding sand out at the sidewalk joint. The first two courses drop, the edge restraint lifts, and cars scrape the lip. A thin sand skim hides it for a month and then the same dip comes back.
How we build it
On a sound field we lift the apron courses, compact a new base, reset the restraint, and lock the sidewalk joint so water leaves the drive instead of sitting in it. If the stones are cracked we replace only those units.
How to start a quote
Call PaverForge Hardscapes at 727-490-9798 or use the book-online page. Send a photo of the apron, the sidewalk joint, and the street frontage. We walk the lot before we lock a number, and we work from the same St. Pete Beach shop.
